20081222 Arose at 9 had breakfast then decided to cycle
to Gois for lunch, pogged out with lunch then called at Bordeiro on the way
home, got involved with the locals and played "mia" in the village square for
beers which went down well on this sunny afternoon, after too many beers we
cycled back to Celavisa just before dark. We relaxed with a few more beers and
dinner.
20081223 Arose 9 ish arranged to have a few pots with
Dougy in Gois, picked him up in Bordeiro about 11, it was another lovely sunny
day, started in May Tay then on to the Pizzeria where we had a few more beers
and shared a couple of trouxas which were like small Calzones, really nice with
hot pirri pirri sauce. Mid afternoon we returned to Bordeiro for a few more
beers and then returned home to Celavisa and pogged out on delicious bacon
butties with brown sauce for our evening meal. Vegged in front of the TV for a
while before retiring.
20081224 Arose 9 ish breakfast and out to Gois for some
bread and a few drinks met Gabrielle and Rachelle chatted for a while as we
consumed a few beers and coffee's returned to Celavisa at dusk for dinner and a
few wines before going out on the razz at about 8. Had a steady evening with the
locals, inside and outside round a bonfire, finished off eating chorizo sausage,
cooked on the bonfire with cheese, bread and wine. Got to bed just after 4am.

20081225 Arose 10 a little hung over after last night,
however we have had quite a chilled day planned, relaxed breakfast, then
Patrick prepared our xmas lunched, which we consumed watching a little TV, a
really laid back day more chilling as we lazed away the day.
20081226 Arose 9 a little fresher today, after breakfast
decided to have a trip to Gois for a coffee, and guess what still their at tea
time still sat in the sun at the May Tay Cafe Bar, where we bumped into Chris,
Jo, John, Robin, Zoo, Carlos, Anton, Andrea, Fernando, Jose and a few others, a
great afternoon, has dark came we returned to Celavisa to get ready to go to
Nick & Gabrielle's dinner Party for 8pm. Got the full xmas dinner with trimmings
joined by Fatima, Lewis, Victor, Rachelle, Sarah & Joel, great night, walked
home at 4am.
20081227 Arose at 10 to get
organized for the party at
Patrick's, guests were invited for drinks anytime after 2pm, so we kicked off
quite early, not such a good day as regards the weather, so we remained inside
but had a very good crack and a few drinks and laughs, also got to bed before
midnight. Another good day.
20081228 Arose 9 fairly fresh this morning, ready to
clean up after the party, fairly laid back, after lunch we had a drive to Praia
Canaveiara for a short walk round took a few pics, then coffee, also called in
at May Tay in Gois for a drink before returning to Celavisa. Chilling back at
the ranch this evening and catching up with the emails etc.
