= Week 7 = Celavisa, Portugal

20090112 Arose 9 lit fire worked on computer for a while
Patrick rose then breakfast, relaxed day, checked out the Motor home, lazed in
the sun, meditated, had a look at facebook, went down to Gois for tea met Anton,
Zoo and Steve their, had a couple of trosca's at the Pizzeria and quite a few
ports and red wines, a really good crack then back to Celavisa for 9pm. watched
a little TV then hit the bed for some quality sleep.
20090113 Arose 10 fairly chilled morning, Val called for
an hour, Patrick and I had a run into Arganil for lunch then a bit of food
shopping before returning to Celavisa. Topped up the Radiator and added some
fuel additive to the fuel, ran the engine for a while just to keep everything
going ok. Wrote a few emails and caught up on facebook, showered then read a
little and generally chilled out.
20090114 Arose 9 lit fire, breakfast then headed off to
Gois picked up Dougy at Bordeiro on the way, Patrick booked the hotel their for
his friends coming in Summer. Then we had a bit of a pub crawl round Gois, had
some lunch at the May Tay then on to Bordeiro, more beers then it was 8:30 and
eleven teen beers later, so we thought we ought to call it a draw, then went home
to have some tea and an early night.
20090115 Arose 9 lit fire, cup of tea, shower, shave and
breakfast ready for a trip to Arganil Market, Dougy picked us up at Celavisa and
we all met up with Shaft and Jen at the .... bar in Arganil, had a few drinks
and a good crack their, then moved on to the Lopez bar, had some lunch and then
went back to Shaft and Jens house for a few hours, got back late and retired.
20090116 Arose 9 usual morning chores then a little time
on the computer, Dougy rang for us to join him and Jui at the bar in Bordeiro,
spent the afternoon drinking and having a laugh, tea time we returned to
Celavisa with a view to having some food but got straight into the bar when we
arrived, that was it for the night everyone ended up far too drunk woke up in
the morning with a whopping hangover and several flash backs of bad behavior.
20090117 Arose 11 ish feeling
terrible, but got packed up
slowly and headed off about 2:30 got to the border near Guarda at about 5pm
found a place to park up for the night then coffee, food and sleep about 7pm.
20090118 Arose 4 had a coffee and set off towards Malaga
950 km wanted to get their before dark, lovely scenery through the mountains
really enjoyed the trip however it was tiring, managed to get lost twice ending
up driving through tiny towns trying to get back on route, hair raising if I had
any. Anyway got to Cabopino near Fuengirola and parked up right by the beach its
lovely, had some tea and another early night 8pm. will send more photos soon
need to link up to my computer, here is one I took while driving down here.
