Mon - Ville de Le Portel Aire - m&a 9 raining this morning when I woke, done
really well with the weather so not complaining. Had breakfast and pottered
about a bit, then updated my outlook contacts. Had lunch purchased some engine
oil for the van, then set off for Calais about 3pm got to Calais and the
supermarket which was reasonably quiet ended up going in 3 times but had time to
kill anyway, timed it nicely, because it got really busy just as I had finished,
by luck more than management, made my dinner in the car park and left about
7:30. Found McDonalds and parked up in two different places but couldn't get the
Wifi so gave it up as a bad job and headed for the port, got to the port about
9, two girls checked the van over and had a brief look round and commented on my
tan, they were gutted when I told them I had been away for 5 months and let me
go through. Got the earlier Ferry so will probably arrive at Dover about 11pm.
Then going to drive up to Bradford hopefully arrive about 7am.

Tue - Bradford Mums - arrived at 5am decided to get my head down for a
few hours awoke at 7:30 had coffee and came round before parking up in mums
drive, had a drink and chat with Mum & Sue before taking the van down to Bobs
for mot. Found it wouldn't fit in so doing the service and finding an
appropriate mot station. Met up with our Chris had lunch and a good chat then
Mum & Sue arrived with the weekly groceries. Had a few drinks watched a movie
and a few soaps with Mum before, CSI then retired for a well earned kip about
11pm.

Wed - Bradford Mums - m&a 8:30 had a hot drink and breakfast with Mum before
taking the van in for a full service. It took all day at Bobs, Tim did the
service with me onlooking to ensure I would know how to go on if needed. Fitted
new brake pads on the front, two new brake cylinders on the leading rear wheels,
used 10 tubes of grease on the rear axles, oil and filters changed everything
else ok. Booked it in for mot on the 8th at the ministry testing station in
Steeton, got home about 6pm. Had a sandwich and chilled out for the evening,
finished up opening and a quick check of the mail, time to retire now at 1am,
goodnight.

Thu - Bradford Mums - a 9:30 drink and breakfast then walked over to the post
office to get internet top up and a v20 form to get a new tax disc for the bike.
Had lunch and got the computer on the net again after a couple of hours messing
round to get it working again. sorted out some paperwork and chilled out for the
rest of the day retired about 11pm.

Fri - Bradford Mums - a 9 breakfast then had a walk to the supermarket for a few
bits, checked the bike in the garage and found my helmet and gloves had gone
mouldy they must have been damp when I put then in their in Nov, anyway think I
can restore them. Auntie Brenda called to see Mum so we had a steady afternoon
chatting, I got the computer out in the evening and messed about on that while
Mum watched Tv retired about 11pm.

Sat - Bradford Mums - a 9 breakfast a nice bath and set up a new programme on my
phone. Then spent the rest of the day learning how it all functioned. After
dinner had a walk on to see Julie and her new house enjoyed a good chat and a
few drinks catching up.

Sun - Bradford Mums - a 9 after breakfast fired the computer up and ordered a
set of leds for the van, also realised it would be better to have the van facing
the other way and on the other side of the driveway to better utilise the solar
panel. Spend most of the day browsing the web for various items, watched a
little tv and retired.
